Anchient India has shaped modern India in many ways. The religion has changed little, and technologies from the past are still used today. Things like the layout of cities in a grid pattern, and plumbing just to name a few. These innovations have allowed the India of the past to reside much longer than that of other counturies, by using similar practices, and modern versions of anchient technology. Anchient Indians also invented the zero, speculated the atomic theory, and were able to perform primitive surgery using techniques that can be used by modern physicans.
